Privacy Policy

TradeByFire ("we", "us") is a trading-discipline companion: a behavioral journal and composure coach for the web and the TradeByFire iOS app. We do not place trades, connect to a broker, or give financial advice. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account identity. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier. Sign-in is handled by Google / Apple OAuth; we never see your password.
• Your behavioral journal. The records you create — check-ins, sealed contracts, logged trades, behavior scores, and review notes — are stored on your device and synced to your account so the web desk and the iOS app stay in agreement.
• Billing. Subscriptions and day passes are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer identifier and your plan status. We do not store your card number — Stripe handles payment details directly.

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide the service — to authenticate you, sync your journal across your devices, compute your behavior scores, and manage your subscription. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we don't do

• No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the iOS app.
• No selling or renting of your personal data.
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that make the product work: Google / Apple (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting and the database that stores your synced records). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its associated data from the web app under Account & Billing (tradebyfire.com), or by emailing us at the address below. On-device data is removed when you delete the app or clear its storage.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. The iOS app uses no custom encryption beyond standard transport security.

Children

TradeByFire is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
